- SVD is pretty complicated. Is there a way to simplify the topic to focus most on the relevant parts? Can you show me an example of when the method yields a "bad" score and when it yields a "good" score?
- Maybe this article should just focus on SVD and other decoupling methods discussed elsewhere.
- an obvious decoupling method is to do this intuitively via knowing the process. e.g. what most directly controls the overhead product purity of a distillation column? The level of the reflux tank, the flow out of the reflux tank to the next process? The recycle flow rate? The coolant water flow rate? etc. These are things that we could use an analytical method for but we could guess.
