GoldenGlobeValve2007
From ControlsWiki
Welcome to the Chemical Engineering 466: Golden Globe Valve site! Below are the student presentations for Fall 2007. These presentations were peer scored to determine this year's awardees in a wide range of categories.

Above is a photograph of two of the six of the golden globe valve awards handed out this year. These awards are steeped in symbolism including:
- Cloth from a sacrificed sage sash. This sash identified you and your fellow sages as experts in the field. The sash is tied in a knot to form a circle, representing the unbroken cycle of knowledge.
- A real globe valve, known for its quality throttling capabilities giving precise control.
- Blue handles and gold (approximately maize) metal, in homage to the alma mater.
